Materials for Installation

Each type of flooring material has its own unique characteristics, advantages, and considerations, so it’s essential to choose the right flooring material based on factors such as location, traffic, maintenance requirements, and aesthetic preferences. Below are examples of the materials we often recommend and install in our clients’ homes.

Vinyl

    • Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) and Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) are individual tiles or planks that mimic the look of hardwood, stone, or ceramic tile.
    • Sheet Vinyl comes in large rolls of vinyl flooring, typically installed in one piece.

Solid Hardwood

    • Solid hardwood planks made from a single piece of wood.

Engineered Hardwood

    • Engineered hardwood composed of multiple layers of wood veneer bonded together.
    • This can be a great option when traditional solid hardwood can’t be installed in certain
      situations.

Tile

    • Tile flooring, especially ceramic and porcelain tiles, is known for its durability and longevity. It can withstand heavy foot traffic, making it suitable for high-traffic areas like kitchens, bathrooms, and entryways.

Laminate

    • Compressed wood particleboard topped with a high-resolution image of wood, stone, or tile, covered with a protective and very durable top layer.

Carpet

    • With carpet available in so many styles, patterns and textures, it’s always a reliable choice for comfort and warmth under your feet.
